Job Title: Project Engineer/ Senior Project Engineer – Software/ Embedded

Job Summary:

To design and develop software for automotive embedded applications a US based MNC at

their India Technical Center located at Bangalore. Eligible engineers should be strong in C

embedded C design and should have worked hands on several embedded projects and

developed design knowledge to cover various aspects of product design cycle.

Job Details:

Qualification: M.E/ B.E. in Electronics/Telecommunication/Electrical Engineering

Total experience: 3 ~ 10years

Relevant: Work experience on embedded products for automotive body electronics

Primary Skills:

• Excellent Embedded C and Assembly Programming skills with minimum3 year’s handson

experience.

• Firmware experience with sound knowledge of various microcontrollers, peripherals,

SoCs, and embedded development environments.

• Hands on experience in using of Development Tools – Emulators, Debuggers and

Simulators.

• Experience in system level architecture and design.

• Excellent problem solving ability with experience in debugging, diagnosing complex

embedded system issues which involves both hardware and software.

• Good Work Experience in serial communication ‐ I2C, SPI, RS232, CAN, UART

• Experience structured approach to software development.

• Working knowledge of SEI CMMI Level Processes or equivalent.

• Experience with Software Configuration Management tools.

• Experience in development of requirements, design documents and test case

documents.

Job Description:

• Performing all aspects of design, development, implementation and test of firmware

for embedded systems

• Job involves analyzing requirements, developing detailed software specifications and

design algorithms, analyze CPU resources, coding, and testing of firmware to meet

specifications and ensure firmware quality.

• Develop and maintains engineering documents to meet Quality System requirements

• Participate in design reviews.

• Supports software validation process. Reviews and/or execute software validation

plans

• Interactions with customer and other internal teams such as electrical and mechanical

engineering, for project management, product validation and manufacturing support.

• Supports new business quotation activities.

Good to have skills:

• Experience in CAN, LIN, USB development and testing

• Experience with VectorCAN driver, KWP2000 and CAN analysis tools (CANoe,

CANalyzer)

• Competent with using laboratory equipment such as scopes, digital multimeters, etc,

reading of traces data from logic‐analyzers

• Experience of Real‐Time Operating System (RTOS)

• Firmware Development Experience for Automotive Systems.

• Understanding hardware schematics, exposure to hardware design
