Job Description
fastest growing It Major is currently seeking an Junior IT Support Analyst for a position We expect this position to extend into a multi-year assignment with a possible right-to-hire for the right candidate. Ideal candidates are college graduates in Computer Science or Engineering with an understanding of Windows Server environment and has knowledge of security configuration. Knowledge of Windows Server 2008, SQL and Networking is a plus. SCADA or NERC CIP experience also a big plus. The candidate will work inside the SCADA area, which will require a comprehensive background check and several training courses, to gain un-escorted access. The work will require little or no travel. The candidate will be working in a team environment. Qualified candidates need to be well adapted to a fast pace and continuously changing environment. Training will be given in both NERC CIP and SCADA. Monthly LAN desk GCSS/PI patch evaluations (Server and Workstations).Collect monthly patch NERC CIP evidence. Patch servers and workstations using LANDesk (Dev/Test/Prod). Conduct and collect evidence for all annual vulnerability scans. Annual Password changes.Assess EXTARN Domain daily. GCSS (Generation Control SCADA System): NovaTech RTU Configuration/Checkout and troubleshooting as needed.User Acceptance Testing liaison for PI and GCSS. GCSS On call support - Beginning in 2013.
