This is an integrated Assessment and Data Management System for school districts where customers can implement a comprehensive local assessment program and deliver a complete dashboard and reporting solution for student learning. Company experiencing rapid growth with new product development. This is a perm position with outstanding individual growth opportunities. Solve complicated problems in a great environment - create TRUE balance between work/life with casual dress and work from home 2 days a week. Developing complex SQL scripts and stored procedures in support of application development. Work closely with clients and team members to clearly define the scope of work and provide accurate schedule estimates. Act as a technical guide and mentor to other team members. Translate customer specifications into quality deliverables. Follows and enhances coding standards and development guidelines. Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 2-5 years+ experience in SQL and RDBMS (Preferable with MySQL) Working knowledge in ETL Strong problem solving and analytical skills Python/Perl Scripting and Linux/Unix all pluses Working knowledge of Pentaho is a strong plus Necessary Personal Traits and Qualities: High energy level, with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; Self-starter with ability to think on your feet; Excellent interpersonal skills and people-management abilities; Quick study and creative problem solver; and Team player and strong motivator.
